We headed out to the lake today to go swimming! I love Nolte State Park because there's a playground, clean bathrooms, good parking spots, clean beaches, and plenty of picnic tables!
Iris is so tiny and was completely fearless. She ran right to the water and wadded in then promptly began drowning and since I was not prepared at all for this reaction I was far out of reach and another woman had to help save her life. Thankfully she lived and was then tied into a life vest for the remaining afternoon.
