Baseball 2012

Sam finished baseball (in June!) and received a participation trophy. He really enjoyed baseball once Jerry began practicing everyday with him. Just another reason Jerry is an awesome Dad; he played baseball in the backyard with Sam and Joe almost every night, watched games and took the time to tell him the rules and explain what was going on. He got him excited and made him proud to be on a team. It was Sam's second to last game that he hit his first ball and his last game when he made it around all the bases. He made it home. Coincidentally the game ended the minute he ran into home and so in Sam's mind he thinks that means he won the game for his team. Yes sir! You sure did!

 

He really enjoyed baseball - hopefully next year he'll want to play again!
