Blogging has suddenly become infanetly easier.
I discovered today that I can easily upload my pictures from my iMac onto flickr. And then if I want to post them to my blog all I have to do is tell it what size I want to upload and voila they're ALL THE SAME SIZE.
You have no idea how irritating this has been to me. Watch this!!
See? Makes it all much easier. Also, today I went through every single photo on my computer and deleted a bunch and then I'm uploading them ALL to flickr and transferring them to our external hard drive.
Somehow, organizing my computer makes my life feel maybe a bit more organized.
Facebook is a big dilemma for me. Why do I blog when I'm basically just saying exactly what I said over there. It's annoying to me, I can't imagine how annoying it is to my facebook friends. I've decided a good way to cut back on posts is to delve more into my blog - the reasons I have a blog is so I can have an outlet for things I want to say, so our families and friends who are far away can feel like they're with us all the time, and most of all so the kids can look back and see the funny things they've said, see all their pictures and hopefully it'll help them remember what their childhood was like. I don't blog a lot of things since I've already just facebooked them sooo... it defeats the purpose.
I'm sorry if I've been one of those people you decide to block because I update too much. If it makes you feel better, I'm annoyed with myself.
I joined and added a twitter bar to the side over there and I'm going to try and tweet things the kids do/say. Follow me if you'd like, I'd love to return the favor. :)
I'm going to try and limit the pictures I upload onto facebook from now on too since I can upload to the internet easily.
I am also going to look for a flickr widget for my sidebar so you can click over and see ALL my pictures, even the ones I don't use in the blog. So to wrap this up, hopefully I'll be posting more pictures here and less there.
