The Royal Wedding

Molly and I hosted a wedding party here at our house on Saturday and watched the DVR'd royal wedding. We had a couple of friends (old and new) and had tea.

I had a ton of fun cutting up little fruits to dip in fresh whipping cream, eating chocolate cake with butter cream frosting with chocolate and white chocolate shavings on top. It was delicious. We had even more than that too with the white chocolate raspberry scones one of our guests brought, short bread tea cookies (which I could have eaten about 300 of!) and strawberries. Yuuummmm.

And the company was just grand! I know I talked a ton and we ended up fast forwarding like two hours to even find the ceremony and then of course the kiss. It was fun to be "part of" the fan fare. It was a beautiful wedding and beautiful weather!!!

I enjoyed the wedding too. I liked the simplicity of it. Those trees were gorgeous in the chapel! I also really liked the queen's canary yellow dress and matching hat - that was one of the things I enjoyed the most. I loved all those crazy hats!!

And yes!! Rowan Atkinson was there!
